Job Description Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Assist with login problems and basic network connectivity issues.
Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, or chat.
Guide users through step-by-step solutions for common technical problems.
Handle service desk requests such as password resets, account unlocks, and software installations.
Escalate more complex issues to higher-level support teams if necessary.
Install and configure computer systems and applications.
Update software and drivers as needed.
Maintain accurate records of user issues and resolutions.
Log all service requests and update tickets accordingly.
Provide basic training to users on how to use software and hardware effectively.
Establish good relationships with users and colleagues.
Ensure a positive user experience by providing timely and effective support.
Qualifications Skills.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Familiarity with latest windows operating systems and applications.
Knowledge of cloud computing platform like Microsoft Azure Knowledge of AD, AAD and Microsoft Intune.
Basic networking knowledge and related protocols including TCP/IP.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Good interpersonal skills to interact with users and team members.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Ability to follow scripts and procedures accurately.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Experience.
Previous experience in a customer service or technical support role is beneficial.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.
Education.
Degrees in fields like Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline are often preferred.
Industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco etc.
