Position Description.
CGI is looking for a Platform Support Engineer – IBM MQ and RabbitMQ to join the team.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• AVAILABILITY TO COVER ON-CALL ROTAS TO DELIVER 24x7 INCIDENT RESPONSE AND RESOLUTION • A strong understanding of how applications operate in a distributed, highly available environment.
• Good analytic troubleshooting skills required diagnose problems and understand workflows.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines at times.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English* • Having 5+ years of Experience as RabbitMQ and IBM MQ Administrator Nice to have.
• Familiarity with scripting and configuration languages such as Ansible, Wsadmin, Python, Rundeck, etc.
• Experience with Dynatrace or similar monitoring technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD technologies as Jenkins, Git, Github actions, etc.
• Knowledge of IBM Websphere Application Server, Websphere Liberty, IBM Http Server, Weblogic, Tomcat and Rabbit MQ advantageous.
• Experience in containerized environments such as Docker, Openshift, or Kubernetes* Skills.
