Job Description.
As a Market Research Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to gather comprehensive data and insights across key areas critical to our business operations in Indonesia.

Responsibilities.

Ensure suppliers meet certification standards, including FSC or SVLK.
Collect samples, certifications, and supplier histories for evaluation.
Teak Wood Market Price Analysis Gather up-to-date pricing for Grade A and Grade B teak wood from sawmills across Indonesia.
Assess logistics and transportation costs.
Confirm FSC or SVLK certifications of suppliers.
Workshop Rental and Land Price Research Research workshop rental costs and options in Jepara, Semarang, Batam, and Jakarta.
Compare land prices and analyze feasibility for workshop setup in these regions.
Include details about amenities, logistics, and proximity to suppliers.
Skilled Worker Hiring Resources Identify recruitment platforms and agencies for skilled woodworkers and carpenters.
Provide insights into labor costs, recruitment fees, and training programs.
Suggest retention strategies and potential collaborations with local vocational schools.
Market Trends and Competitor Analysis Analyze trends in demand for teak wood cutting boards in domestic and international markets.
Benchmark competitor products, pricing, and branding.
Explore online marketplaces for sourcing and selling opportunities.
Legal and Regulatory Research Investigate export regulations and certification requirements for wooden products in Indonesia and target markets like Singapore.
Provide a detailed compliance report.
Requirements.
Proven experience in market research or a related field.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Familiarity with the woodcraft industry, especially in Indonesia, is a plus.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
