FTE Process Mapping Tool Development for Offshoring Feasibility Objective.
To create a comprehensive FTE Process Mapping Tool (on Excel sheet) to assess HR operational processes, determine staffing needs, and evaluate offshoring feasibility.
The tool should incorporate global compliance checks, an estimation methodology for FTE requirements, and deliver structured reporting templates to support decision-making.
Key Deliverables.
Detailed Process Mapping Framework Create an adaptable framework to map HR processes across various operational functions.
Incorporate a standardized approach to evaluate task frequency, duration, and complexity.
Integrate SAP SuccessFactors modules as reference points for each mapped process (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Offboarding).
Compliance and Data Security Checklist Develop a compliance checklist tailored for global data protection regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant standards.
Include criteria for data privacy, data security, cross-border data transfers, and third-party risk management.
Provide guidance on assessing compliance status for each mapped process.
FTE Estimation Methodology Build a structured methodology to estimate FTE requirements based on process complexity, task frequency, and total time requirements.
Establish a standard calculation model (e.
., 160 hours/month per FTE) with adjustments for operational variations (peak periods, regional factors).
Integrate this methodology within the mapping tool to support dynamic FTE estimation.
Offshoring Feasibility Assessment Design a system to rate each process's suitability for offshoring, with criteria for assessing potential, risks, and dependencies.
Include indicators for high, medium, and low suitability based on the complexity, need for local presence, and sensitivity.
Reporting and Summarization Templates Develop reporting templates to summarize each process’s offshoring feasibility, compliance status, and FTE requirements.
Ensure the templates are user-friendly and facilitate executive-level review with clear visualizations.
Documentation and User Guide Provide a comprehensive guide covering methodology, data definitions, compliance criteria, and tool usage.
Ensure easy maintenance and adaptability for future updates.
Required Skills and Experience.
Strong experience in process mapping and FTE estimation, ideally within HR or operational functions.
Proficiency in global data security and compliance standards.
Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HR systems.
Demonstrated ability to develop user-friendly tools and reporting templates.
