40Job DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEWThe Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for managing and executing successful F&B operations in all outlets, including banquets & catering, restaurant and bar operations, in-room dining, the club lounge, and in-room mini bars.
The role will work closely with other departments to ensure there is a seamless transition between sales, room, and food & beverage.
They will manage the day-to-day financials and be responsible for achieving budgeted results.
UTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise and ensure the overall success of all F&B operations.
upport and assist all management and hourly associates.
evelop an operating strategy that is aligned with the Companys business strategy.
anage and update the food & beverage menus within the parameters of the guiding principles and operating plan.
oordinate with the sales team and group meeting planners to understand and achieve their specific group requirements with the services and facilities offered.
anage all F&B inventories weekly and monthly to confirm appropriate handling procedures and within-budget expenses and cost metrics.
versee and create associate schedules and make any necessary changes per business demands and budget.
nsure maximum revenue is achieved from all sales opportunities.
articipate and contribute to marketing meetings for creative opportunities and events.
xecute creative programming within the operating strategy and brand pillars.
ork with the property and corporate leadership team to effectively increase Guest Satisfaction scores and highlight areas of concern.
articipate in P&L reviews and the budgeting process for all areas of responsibility.
articipate in departmental meetings and continually communicate a clear and consistent message regarding the departmental goals to produce the desired results.
nsure all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
ecruit, interview, hire, and train Food & Beverage associates.
onduct performance evaluations and discipline staff when needed.
aintain a professional and personable appearance at all times, according to hotel standards.
uccessfully achieve the hotels core competencies including work product, teamwork and culture, guest and customer service, work ethic, impact-oriented problem solver, and entrepreneurship.

UALIFICATIONSPrevious experience in a similar role in a luxury hospitality operation.
everage certification preferred.
ust have supervisory, coaching, and staff development experience.
ood reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
