You should select any industry/subgroup industry, and then three publicly listed corporations from the chosen industry group and.
1.
Provide a brief analysis of your chosen Industry/subgroup industry.
Conduct a brief analysis of Industry/subgroup industry which demonstrates your understanding of key drivers of industry analysis such as industry concentration, pricing power, level of competition, industry life cycle analysis etc.
2.
Using relative valuation approach, identify whether the equities selected are undervalued, overvalued, or fairly priced.
You are required to justify the chosen multiples as part of the comparable analysis.
Compare the industry multiples or justified multiples against the constituents’ multiples and thereby identify undervalued, overvalued or fairly priced securities.
3.
Using the same companies, estimate the intrinsic values of chosen equities using either DDM or FCF approach to justify if the securities are undervalued, overvalued or fairly priced.
Provide conclusion.
You must employ a multi-stage model to calculate Intrinsic Value and must calculate for the same three companies as the previous task.
