Position Description.
CGI is looking for a Technical Product Manager to help our client build and enhance an AI tool to serve their primary mission services.
We need a leader who has led development efforts in support of multiple stakeholders and is able to clearly communicate to client leaders and technical architects.
Must be able to adapt quickly to incorporate new priorities based upon evolving Federal policies.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Work with client leadership to capture business initiatives and translate them into a product roadmap • Build and manage a product roadmap • Lead product definition discussions and document business requirements, process flows and business rules • Manage and mentor junior staff members contributing this product line • Provide direction during daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and other Agile ceremonies • Work closely with Business Analysts, Technical Architects and subject matter experts to understand requirements and translate into epics and stories • Participate in design meetings with other projects and the client’s technical specialists • Work with other Agile teams to effectively design, build and deliver cloud-based solutions • Work with other teams to coordinate integration testing across multiple (more than 3) teams • Provide direction during daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos and other Agile ceremonies Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Due to the nature of the government contracts, this position requires US Citizenship • 10+ years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on development projects using Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban • Ability to work with the client, end-users and technical architects to build well-defined product plans and Agile epics • Experience delivering as part of Agile development teams and strong familiarity with Scrum or Kanban delivery models • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong communication skills Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required.
• Experience with SAFe methodologies • Strong Excel skills • Familiarity with SQL • Familiarity with JSON and Application Program Interface (API) definitions CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications.
To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
