Introduction We are seeking a qualified freelancer to conduct a structural stress analysis for a chilled water piping system.
The analysis should provide detailed insights into the structural requirements, enabling Hilti to select the appropriate support systems for the pipes.
The final deliverable must be a professional report that includes calculations, tables, and graphs to facilitate informed decision-making.
Scope of Work The scope of the analysis includes, but is not limited to.
Structural Analysis.
Assess thermal, weight, pressure, and dynamic stresses on the chilled water piping system.
Evaluate load distribution and reactions at support points.
Analyze the effects of pipe insulation and operational loads on structural integrity.
Support System Design Input.
Identify critical stress points and propose load requirements for pipe supports.
Provide structural recommendations for selecting Hilti support systems, including spacing, type, and configuration.
Compliance and Standards.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.
., ASME B31.

, and structural engineering standards).
Visualization and Reporting.
Present findings in a detailed report including tables, graphs, and diagrams for ease of interpretation.
