SOC SPECIALIST (M/F/D)

We are looking for a SOC Specialist, to integrate the team of our client u a reference Portuguese company in the banking sector.
What will be your main tasks and responsibilities? utDeveloping 2nd and 3rd line monitoring, incident response and analysis within Security Monitoring and Control teams and CSIRT scope; utMaintain and supervise the development and evolution of threats and vulnerabilities; utIdentify and promote initiatives for the detection of malicious activity in information systems and networks; utEnsure the alignment between monitoring and vulnerabilities management activities, in order to guarantee that information systems and networks are fully protected against threats; utEnsure the defenses against potential threats namely through the constant review of security events management, review and optimization of use cases, incorporation of new IOCus in security systems according to security alerts and feeds; utEnsure threat hunting activities and develop security incidents reports; utAnalyze, classify and follow on information security incidents and vulnerabilities; utDefine and design containment and eradication measures according to incident types; utRefine and/or create rules and signatures for monitoring according fraud patterns related to digital channels.
What is required from you? utAcademic background in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other similar area; utPrevious professional experience in the areas of incident responde and analysis, security operation centres (SOC), practical roles of cybersecurity with a strong knowledge in security architectures and technologies; utKnowledge in the use of SIEM and SOAR tools; utKnowledge in Lean/Agile/DevOps principles; utGood analytical skills, critical sense, logic and structured thinking and ability to solve complex problems; utAbility to adapt and propose solutions in order to overcome challenges and obstacles; utGood relational and communicational skills; utFluency in English (written and spoken).
