SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER

Position Description.

We have an opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to work with some of Australia’s largest fleet-intensive utility organisations.
You will collaborate with hardware and software vendors to provide vehicle-based computing solutions tailored for the Australian market.
Suitable applicants will have a strong focus on service delivery outcomes for customers and may have a background in field-based end user computing services and/or infrastructure management.
Broad knowledge of ruggedised end user computing (laptops & tablets) and route scheduling applications, as well as experience in hardware procurement would position you well for this role.
You may also have worked in a customer-facing role for a recognised hardware vendor.

We offer a hybrid work model, allowing for working on site (Lane Cove), visiting clients, and working from home.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Provide technical and delivery leadership across managed services and project engagements, with a specialisation in vehicle-based computing and ruggedised end user computing deployments.
• Actively manage support and project engagements to contracted obligations, aiming to exceed client expectations and service levels • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders • Oversee reporting, ordering, goods receiving, packing, shipping and other administrative tasks performed by the team • Responsible for all project financials including procurement, budgets, reporting, invoicing and cash collection • Leverage your professional network to identify, pursue and capture new business opportunities that provide sustainable revenue and growth • Customer site visits as required for business development, relationship management, troubleshooting or delivery of hardware Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Experience managing operational technology, end-user computing and hardware-oriented service/project engagements.
• Experience with managing the procurement and delivery of services associated with computer hardware.
• Prior experience with ruggedised devices and/or operational fleet management software solutions desirable • Strong technical leadership • A passion for service excellence and process adherence / improvement • Excellent communication, analytical and issue resolution skills • Experience working in the Utilities domain preferable In addition to the above you will also require.
