Here are the specific issues.
Soft 404 Errors.
In Google Search Console, many of my blog URLs show a “Page cannot be indexed.
Soft 404” error.
When I run a live test, I get “URL is not available to Google.” Canonical Tag Conflicts.
Google is defaulting to older indexed blog URLs as the canonical, rather than my newly declared URLs.
In Google Search Console, I’m seeing errors like “Duplicate without user-selected canonical” and “Alternate page with proper canonical tag.” Actions I’ve Already Taken.
Verified that all canonical tags are correctly set in the HTML, as confirmed by inspection in the browser.
Conducted a full website audit using Ahrefs, which found no canonical issues.
Manually requested indexing for affected pages, but indexing has not improved.
What I’m Looking For.
I need an SEO expert with specific experience in solving indexing issues and canonicalization conflicts, particularly following a URL structure change.
