SECURITY AND COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST (M/F)

We are looking for a Security and Communications Specialist, to integrate the team of our client u a reference Portuguese company in the energy sector.
What will be your main tasks and responsibilities? u Integrate the security and communications team, participating in planning, specification, implementation and infrastructure management activities; u Develop studies and proof of concepts in order to continuously evolve the infrastructure; u Promote the continuous improvement of security of the systems, namely in their technical update and vulnerabilities correction; u Manage requests and incidents, interacting with providers, suppliers and other related internal/external parties; u Ensure the compliance with policies related to systems within the department scope, in order to guarantee alignment with legal obligations and procedures in what is related to information security domains; u Interact and manage external suppliers related to software and hardware, including specification, control of activities and agreed SLAs; u Promote monitoring and reporting of availability and performance of systems within their scope, ensuring alignment with business requirements, adequate user experience and continuous improvement; u Participate in exercises related to disaster recovery, security incidents, in order to train and improve the abilty to react and validate the adjustment and efficiency of the policies and procedures implemented.
What is required from you? u Academic background in Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other similar area; u Previous solid experience, minimum 05 years, in roles related to management of security and communications infrastructures; Solid knowledge in technologies related to firewalls (multi vendors), load balancers, VPN Site2Site and User2Site, proxy sever, access management, endpoint security, local networks and datacenter; Knowledge in system administration (Windows and Linus), SDN, programming, monitorization, alarmistic and automation tools will be valued; u Good analytical skills, critical sense, logic and structured thinking and ability to solve complex problems; u Ability to adapt and propose solutions in order to overcome challenges and obstacles; u Good relational and communication skills; u Fluency in English (written and spoken).
