Full Time Qualification.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities.
• Data Modeling and Design.
Design and develop SAP BW data models based on business requirements.
• Define Info Objects, Info Cubes, Datastore Objects, and other BW objects to structure the data.
• Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to load data from various sources into the SAP BW system Create and maintain data transformation and conversion rules.
• Data Extraction and Integration.
Extract data from source systems (eg, SAP ERP, external databases) using SAP BW extractors or other data extraction techniques.
• Configure and optimize data extraction processes, including delta extraction and change data capture.
• Integrate data from multiple sources into the SAP BW system, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop and maintain data interfaces and integrations.
• Create and maintain data transformation and conversion rules.
• Reporting and Analytics.
Develop SAP BW queries and reports using BEx (Business Explorer) or other reporting tools • System Monitoring and Support.
Monitor SAP BW system performance, data loads, and report execution • Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users in utilizing the SAP BW system.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement system enhancements, patches, and upgrades.
• Documentation and Training.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, data flow diagrams, and system configurations.
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions on SAP BW functionalities.
• Provide knowledge transfer and support to other team members and business users.
Must-Have Skills.
• 5-8 years of BI/BW relevant work experience in SAP full cycle implementation as well as in SAP support projects.
• Must have SAP A4O reporting experience.
• Should have strong exposure in area of SAP BI/BW (i.
.
COPA, CCA, FI-GL, FIAR and MM data flows).
• SAP S4 HANA, ABAP knowledge would be an added advantage.
Good-to-Have Skills.
• Experience with working in Agile (KANBAN, Scrum) environment as part of a scrum team • Good Understanding of Modern Data Warehouse and Data Warehousing concepts Skills.
