SAP ABAP - TECH LEAD F/M

Within the framework of project activities – on different clients on domains such as Manufacturing, Automotive and Retail based on SAP platform - you will be integrated into the CGI project management team and will be involved in project management missions.
For our office in Milan we are looking for an SAP Tech Lead.
Your job will be to manage and organize the tasks within a ABAP programming team up to 10 resources.
You will attend Client meetings to collect requirements, you will transfer such requirements to the team and together will build technical analysis.
You will be responsible to allocate the proper tasks to the right people, follow up on their status activity and facilitate them in removing blockers and move to the best possible solutions for the Client and CGI.
You will work directly with the PMO team in order to assure plans are up to date and on track.
You will use your expertise to propose efficient solutions to Client’s ongoing issues.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
You will be part of the ICT team dealing with.
- Manage Tech team for roles and responsibilities on tasks, - Support Client decisions with required analysis and feedbacks, - Collaborate with other team members to define and implement functional requirements, - Support on PMO activities with status updates, - Support and Validate technical documentation and project specifications, - Management of software implementations and release to productive environments, - Continuous support to project contacts for activities relating to assessments of feasibility studies regarding new needs, availability of new features/releases/products of interest for the business and for the quality of the service provided.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
Skills and Organizational requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of ABAP, ABAP OO programming language (eg.
BAPI, BADI, Batch input, Idoc, Workflow, Web service, Smartform, Enhancement, ABAP for HANA...), - Ability to understand functional specifications on SAP FI, CO, MM, SD, SM modules, - Knowledge of English language (at least B1), - Spirit of collaboration and ability to work as a team, plus experience of managing small to medium size teams, - Analytical approach.
Nice to have.
- Knowledge of javascript and java languages, - Experience with web and web service technologies, • Experience within the Automotive/Manufacturing/Retail industry.
