This work is within the scope of the work package.
\"Assisted and Autonomous Driving for Safe Mobility\" and \"Digital Experience & Adaptive Connectivity for Cooperative Mobility\".
Work Objectives Main Objective.
Development of a QoS monitoring application using NEF Workplan.
1.
Definition of a service to support improved troubleshooting to users that perceive low service quality with a telecom operator.
architecture, metrics and interface with NEF 2.
Implementation of the modules of the defined service 3.
Definition of the testing scenarios and use cases for the developed application within the testbeds available in the project 4.
Testing and validation of the developed service and use cases 5.
Documentation and thesis writing Place of Work The work will be developed at the premises of Instituto de Telecomunicações – Porto, under the supervision of Professor Ana Aguiar.
Duration 6 months, with the possibility of renewal (according to the regulations defined by FCT).
Start date.
February 1st, or soon thereafter.
Monthly Salary € according to the table of grant amounts awarded directly by FCT for positions held in Portugal (https://www.

The payment will be made by bank transfer.
Admission Requirements Research grants are intended.
- for students enrolled in a degree-conferring course to carry out R&D activities with the aim to consolidate their scientific training through the development of research work leading to the attainment of the respective academic degree or completion of the course (integrated or not in R&D projects).
- for students enrolled in courses that do not confer an academic degree but which are integrated in an educational project of a higher education institution and are developed in association or cooperation with one or several R&D units.
In what concerns the admission requirements for this research grant in particular.
- Candidates must be enrolled in a master's, an integrated master's program in Electronic and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related areas, or a non-degree academic program.
- They should have background in cellular networks (e.
.
previous course), experience in programming, and service development technologies, analytical thinking, and - Fluency in English.
