We are looking for Research Fellow to join our group in the Lab-on-a-chip device for bacteria and AMR genes detection project of the Smartgnostics Agenda, under the PRR framework.
Job Duties The job duties will be the following.
Design and fabricate biosensing microfluidic devices for DNA detection; Integrate and test microfluidic modules for DNA purification, amplification and detection; Provide feedback towards automation and scale-up of microfluidic devices.
Mandatory Qualifications   Education PhD in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biological Engineering or related fields.
Experience and Technical Skills Experience in the design and fabrication of microfluidic devices; Experience in the development of biosensors; Experience in microfabrication.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in microbiology; Experience in DNA amplification techniques.
Personal Skills “ Hands-on” approach together with a high commitment in respecting working deadlines; Problem Solving ability; Customer orientation; Ability to work independently and as team player; Good communication skills.
