The QA Engineers will focus on delivering automated test solutions for REST service validation, Data Services, load & soak to enhance the existing automation frameworks.
The project requires 2 QA Engineers, one senior (7+ys of experience) and one junior (3+ys of experiece) Requirements for the senior role.
• Own the automation testing frameworks and design • Write moderately complex code to test systems • Work with team members to keep testing at the forefront of our SDLC • Inject expertise on test case reusability and design • Discover common behaviors within the applications and translate these into automated tests • Drive further adoption of unit/integration/system testing, metrics to monitor code coverage, bug prevention strategies, and other quality measures Minimum Qualifications.
• 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance • 7+ years of experience in test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging • 2+ years of experience in Automated testing using JavaScript/TypeScript/NodeJS • Experience testing SaaS products • Black box and white box experience and expertise • Desire to learn new technologies • Excellent written/oral English communication skills • Demonstrated attention to detail • BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience in quality assurance Requirements for the junior role Main responsibilities.
• Design, develop/implement and maintain test automation solutions for components built by the local development team • Experience building backend data services and APIs • Write moderately complex code to test systems • Inject expertise on test case reusability and design • Clearly define and communicate defects and assist team members with resolution efforts • Discover common behaviours within the applications and translate these into automated tests • Drive further adoption of unit/integration/system testing, metrics to monitor code coverage, bug prevention strategies, and other quality measures Main Technical Competencies.
• 3+ years of experience in a software QA role, at least 1 of which involved in test automation • 2+ years of experience in Automated testing using JAVA or JavaScript/NodeJS • Experience with testing tools & frameworks (e.

Selenium, Protractor, Cucumber-js/jvm, Cypress) • Experience in RESTful API environments • Ability to author and maintain technical documentation • Experience of Agile methods and processes • Experience with Continuous Delivery/Deployment and cloud deployment (AWS, Bamboo, Jenkins) • Experience with monitoring tools, such as Splunk, DynaTrace, Data Dog, Grafana or XRay.
The roles are fully remote but require to work full-time on Sydney timezone.
