Our product gives users a SaaS platform to create customized recipes using whatever ingredients they have in their homes, leading to food waste and monitoring their food inventory.
It creates an API connection with the Recipe Generator, which provides customized recipes depending on dietary restrictions, available ingredients, and other factors.
Also, the system will have a great item known as Smart Pantry & Expiration Alerts, which will allow users to keep track of the items in their pantry, receive alerts when ingredients are about to expire, and prioritize those ingredients in their recipes.
The site will become even more connecting and social when users are able to rate, personalize, and share their favorite recipes.
Another nice feature is the Personalized Weekly Meal Planner, which gives one an opportunity to make meal plans according to what is in their pantry and the optimum aims of their diets for shopping [login to view URL] website that uses the Recipe Generator API to build generated recipes on the basis of ingredients the user has at home.
It will include three major components.
1.
Smart Pantry & Expiration Alerts.
Users will be able to log their ingredients and set expiration dates, receiving alerts when items will expire.
This way, it will reduce food waste because one will use the ingredients on time.
It will suggest recipes with expiring ingredients.
2.
Rating, Customization, and Sharing of Recipes.
Users rate the recipes returned from the API, they are allowed to make modifications, such as adding ingredients or adjusting quantities to taste, and share their newly modified recipe with other users.
3.
Personalized Meal Planner for the Week.
The system will suggest a meal to be prepared for a week according to the ingredients in your pantry.
It will organize recipes, make grocery lists for missing ingredients, and automatically update the pantry every time an ingredient is used in making a particular recipe.
Frontend will use php.
For the features Frontend will send a message to rabbitmq through rabbitmq backend will get the request.
RabbitMQ will serve as a message broker.
Backend will use Django and will handle the API request and features.
Backend will check to get the message from rabbitmq which the frontend sent.
And process it and send back to rabbitmq after rabbitmq will send back to frontend.
Database will use my sql.
We doing our project on vscode and have three folders We are done with the Registration, Login, Logout and Landing page.
Only need the features now.
