Position Description.
Job Title.
Manager – Consulting Delivery (Telecom, GCC Environment)Location.
Bangalore or Chennai (Onsite - 5 Days a Week)Experience.
Years About the Role.
e are seeking a seasoned Manager – Consulting Delivery who will be responsible for building and strengthening Global Capability Center (GCC) competence in a high-performing environment.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical and business acumen in the telecom domain, a proven track record of working with global customers, and the capability to drive revenue growth through strategic relationship management and exceptional delivery oversight.
Key Responsibilities.
• GCC Competence Building.
Establish and enhance the GCC delivery framework, ensuring alignment with client goals, industry best practices, and organizational standards.
• Client Relationship Management.
Serve as the primary point of contact for offshore GCC clients, building long-term, trust-based relationships and acting as the bridge between clients, the parent organization, and on-site teams.
• Strategic Business Growth.
Understand client business objectives and proactively identify opportunities to expand service offerings, improve delivery outcomes, and achieve revenue targets.
• Negotiation & Interpersonal Skills.
Negotiate rates and commercial terms with clients, leveraging strong interpersonal and communication skills to find mutually beneficial solutions.
• Technical & Business Acumen.
Apply deep understanding of telecom technologies, market trends, and operational best practices to guide teams and inform client engagements.
• Program & Agile Management.
Lead complex programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, utilizing Agile methodologies to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Talent Management.
Collaborate with talent acquisition teams to identify, onboard, and retain top-tier talent.
Mentor, groom, and motivate team members to enhance performance, productivity, and professional development.
• Adaptability & Problem-Solving.
Handle fluctuating demands and critical situations effectively, delivering solutions promptly and diplomatically without compromising client relationships.
• Cultural & Linguistic Adaptability.
Engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of additional Indian languages is a plus.
Required Qualifications & Skills.
• years of overall experience in consulting delivery, with a focus on the telecom industry and Global Capability Centers.
• Proven track record of managing complex client engagements and delivering measurable business results.
• Strong program management and Agile delivery experience.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-performing environment and adapt to evolving client demands.
• Solid understanding of organizational values, client requirements, and the ability to align team efforts accordingly.
• Proficiency in English; additional Indian languages advantageous.
