Your New Role As a Marketing Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in the marketing team, collaborating with diverse and talented teams to develop world-class digital solutions that redefine customer engagement.
Your leadership will guide innovative campaigns and ensure seamless integration, setting a new standard for personalised customer experiences.
This position is offered in a hybrid capacity, combining remote work with an onsite presence in Lisbon, Portugal.
Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions.
Architect and implement personalised marketing strategies using SFMC modules such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Interaction Studio (Personalisation).
Develop and optimise custom applications leveraging AMPScript, SQL, JavaScript, SSJS, and APIs (REST/SOAP).
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Mentor junior developers, providing guidance to enhance technical skills and best practices.
Integrate SFMC with other CRM platforms, APIs, and web properties for seamless data flow and enhanced customer experiences.
Drive innovation in campaign strategies, leveraging advanced automation and dynamic content techniques.
Facilitate troubleshooting, incident resolution, and continuous improvement across the platform.
What You'll Need to Succeed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Web Design.
Preferred certifications include Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certified Developer and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer 1.
3–6 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform development.
5+ years of enterprise software development experience.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AMPScript, SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Knowledge of Java, Apex, VisualForce, C++, and SOQL.
Understanding of data warehouses, Big Data technologies, and API integration.
Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, such as GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows.
Strong ability to analyse and interpret data.
Creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong facilitation skills to support efficient decision-making processes.
A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and mentor others.
Results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and excellence.
Experience with responsive design and adaptive development principles is a plus.
