Responsibilities.
Conduct regular security inspections to ensure the integrity of the vessel.
Coordinate ship operations, including cargo handling, to maintain security protocols.
Enhance security awareness and vigilance aboard the ship.
Respond to and report threats or risks to the company.
Implement and maintain the ship’s security plan.
Perform basic security checks.
Supervise security measures during cargo handling and stock management.
Monitor and report security incidents to the company and the ship’s master.
Adjust the ship’s security plan as needed.
Ensure the ship’s security equipment is properly operated, tested, and maintained.
Collaborate with shipboard personnel and port authorities to ensure secure operations.
Apply security measures in key areas, including cargo handling, engine room operations, and ship supplies.
Requirements.
A minimum of 9 months of experience in the military, law enforcement, or an extensive security role.
Excellent command of the English language.
A clean criminal record.
Good physical fitness.
A strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Proactive, multitasking skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
