Position Description.
US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED CGI Federal is currently looking for an IT Project Lead SME with active Top-Secret clearance to support a large project for a federal government client.
The IT Project Lead will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, utilizing a variety of skills and languages in a fast-paced, cutting-edge setting where their input can enhance processes and team interactions.
The team is responsible for maintaining the clients cloud accounts, VPCs, and cloud-managed services with automated processes consistent with industry best practices in DevOps.
This position can be based in Washington DC.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
IT Project Lead is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of information technology projects, managing a team of developers and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications, by leading project planning meetings, assigning tasks, tracking progress, identifying potential risks, and communicating updates to relevant parties throughout the project lifecycle.
