Careers - Iptor YOUR HELP AND CONTRIBUTIONS  TO OUR JOURNEY Leadership and Strategy Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the development teams.
Oversee the development modernization program, introducing updated tooling, methodologies, and quality control measures.
Align development priorities with broader business objectives and customer needs.
Team and Partner Management Lead, mentor, and inspire development teams across multiple disciplines.
Manage the relationship with an offshore development partner, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality outputs and products.
Develop and execute a robust knowledge transfer and succession planning strategy.
Technology and Innovation Modernize development processes, incorporating tools like Rocket DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and AI-driven solutions for API generation and code modernization.
Ensure seamless integration of legacy and modern technologies to maintain product reliability while driving innovation.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in code quality, security, and delivery practices.
Operational and Financial Excellence Implement and monitor quality control measures across all aspects of development, including UX/UI, APIs, and DevOps pipelines.
Drive the adoption of DevOps and GitOps practices to enhance automation, collaboration, and delivery efficiency.
Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and third-party supplier costs.
Negotiate contracts with third-party suppliers, ensuring maximum value and performance accountability.
YOU STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD IF YOU HAVE To be both successful and motivated in this role, we think you recognize yourself in some (or all) of the below.
Proven Leadership.
Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within software development, preferably in ERP or similar enterprise systems.
Technical Expertise.
Strong knowledge of legacy (RPG, Java) and modern (MERN stack, Python) technologies, with hands-on experience in development and modernization initiatives.
DevOps and GitOps.
Proficiency in using tools like Rocket DevOps, GitHub, and Jenkins to streamline development pipelines.
AI-Driven Innovation.
Experience introducing AI-assisted tools for API generation and code modernization.
Offshore Team Management.
Track record of managing offshore development partners, with a focus on quality, accountability, and seamless delivery.
Knowledge Management.
Expertise in implementing knowledge transfer and succession planning strategies to preserve institutional knowledge and support workforce transitions.
Budget and Supplier Management.
Demonstrated ability to manage development budgets and control third-party supplier costs effectively.
Change Management.
Ability to lead teams through significant transformation, fostering engagement, and collaboration.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.
It is a plus, if you have.
Familiarity with ERP systems or similar enterprise solutions.
Strong understanding of modern UX/UI design principles and practices.
Experience managing aging workforces and implementing retention and retirement transition strategies.
Certification in Agile, DevOps, or related methodologies.
