ow you\ull make an impactReport directly to the BU Transformers HSE Manager (Global) and act as a technical lead and subject matter expert for machine risk assessment, functional safety for machinery, and machine safeguarding.
esign and implement a comprehensive Machinery Safety Program in the BU Transformers, working closely with BU, HUB, and factory operations teams.
dvise and support the definition and implementation of safety-critical controls for industrial machinery capital projects and upgrades.
upport and guide HUB Machine Safety Specialists (Engineers), sharing best practices and developing local machine safety competency.
rovide technical support in the assessment of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring compliance with internal, industry consensus, and regulatory standards.
ead risk assessment initiatives and risk mitigation in the scope of machine safety.
rovide machine safety training and develop technical competency at local sites.
upport the investigation of incidents, determine root causes, and prepare corrective and preventive action plans.
our backgroundBachelor' degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (HSE education or similar experiences is desirable).
ver 8 years of global/regional experience in machine safety management, maintenance, risk assessment, and design.
nderstanding of the EU Machinery Directive /EC, ISO , and relevant standards.
xperience in reading and designing electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems diagrams.
roactive mindset, excellent communication and influencing skills, willingness to travel globally (% time), and fluency in English.
