DIRECTOR OF CONSULTING, DELIVERY - FEDERAL SERVICES

As the Director of Consulting, you will have senior responsibility for leading the entire life cycle of sales and delivery for a portfolio of consulting projects for the Financial Management Sector (FMG) of our International Affairs (IAF) business unit.
The ideal candidate will have experience with strategic consulting and the delivery side of technology projects and is comfortable being the leader on the team while working with customers.
An eagerness to engage in related industry organizations and networking is a must.
This position is located at our client site in Washington, DC.
A hybrid working model of 3 days a week onsite and 2 days remote is currently acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• You will ensure successful delivery of projects in your portfolio, working closely with managers to ensure work production exceeds client expectations, hits targeted revenue and profitability, and positions CGI at the forefront in the client’s contractor landscape.
• In addition to delivery quality, your management duties include financial, staffing, and contractual oversight.
You will be responsible for managing existing projects and play a key role in developing and executing client development plans to grow our work.
• You will own the client experience from proposal to delivery, ensuring successful project execution and high client satisfaction.
• You will develop and execute a strategic client growth plan to secure new business and expand existing accounts within the portfolio.
• You will lead proposals and evolve solution offerings to ensure CGI is positioned as a best-in-class provider.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of professional experience leading medium to large IT services business and defining, selling, and delivering business and information technology solutions for the Federal Government (preference.
USAID) • Experience managing a P&L within a consulting organization (or a significant management role within a practice) with a focus on both sales and delivery.
• Results-oriented business leader with a solid understanding of budgets, forecasting, planning, and strategic pricing models.
• Proven track record of business development and client relationship management, from ground-level project teams up to executives, in the areas of business and strategic consulting (e.
., CFO advisory, CIO Advisory, AI Advisory, OCM) is preferred.
• Due to the nature of the government contract, US Citizenship is required.
Qualified candidates must obtain an interim secret clearance prior to starting.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required.
• PMP Certification • CGFM Certification • Working knowledge of the Momentum ERP Suite CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications.
