we are currently a couple of weeks away from our second edition of formula student portugal, happening in castelo branco from the 3rd to the 7th of september.
we will have 22 teams, from 12 countries, totalling 450 students.
our staff is composed of 100 people, of which around a third is also international.
we also expect to have around 500 visitors.
we are a young company, run by young people who see a huge upside in what can be achieved with such an innovative and disruptive event.
our goal is to bridge the gap between the industry and the academic world while providing entertainment and awareness for the general population.
position overview we seek a motivated and versatile communications and administrative manager to join our team.
this role is perfect for someone as comfortable crafting engaging social media posts as they are coordinating meetings and handling administrative tasks.
your work will be critical in helping us build our brand, attract sponsors, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
key responsibilities communication.
manage and grow our presence on social media platforms (instagram, facebook, linkedin, youtube, etc.).
maintain our website with fresh and relevant content.
develop and execute content strategies to promote our events, engage with our audience, and attract sponsors.
assist in creating marketing materials and presentations for potential sponsors.
administrative.
schedule and coordinate meetings with sponsors and partners.
conduct research to identify potential sponsors and partners.
handle general administrative tasks such as email correspondence and document management.
have sporadic in-person meetings in portugal with sponsors.
who we’re looking for a strong communicator.
you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in portuguese and english.
social media savvy.
you understand how to engage audiences on various social media platforms.
organised and detail-oriented.
you can manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a high level of accuracy.
proactive and resourceful.
you’re able to work independently, find solutions, and take initiative.
passionate about motorsport.
an interest in motorsport and engineering is a plus! experience.
3+ years in similar fields is preferred but not mandatory.
