Join us as a Car Technician and you will be looking at a career-defining role based in Orlando, FL.
Car Technicians provide expertise in trouble shooting electrical, HVAC, Network and PTC issues with cars and locomotives.
Incumbents in this position will be required to work with, evaluate and participate in training necessary to develop the workforce to be a safe/efficient & skilled team.
In your role as a Transit Technician you will.
Provide the necessary coaching, mentoring and hands on training of all employees assigned.
Identify problematic systems/parts to ascertain performance failures using diagnostic and faultfinding techniques.
Interface with client technical staff to identify technical reliability solutions.
Continually propose improvement to equipment, practices and maintenance programs.
Provide vacation coverage for Mechanical Foremen.
Must have a proven track record with Cars and Locomotive repair or building with regards to HVAC and electrical systems.
When required, will be assigned to activities such as servicing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing components of locomotive or car rail equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager based on train availability or repair schedule.
Follow all Alstom security and safety instructions or procedures in order to prevent any personal injuries and maintain a safe fleet that will meet the demands of a reliable commuter service.
