BUSINESS SYSTEM ANALYST_GUIDEWIRE BILLING CENTER

Position Description.
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will support the existing production environment and participate in current and future development projects.
The individual will analyze moderate to complex system and functionality-related problems in our insurance business systems.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client location in Markham at a minimum 2-3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• The BSA will analyze moderate to complex systems and functionality issues as reported by the business unit.
• Recommend and communicate possible workaround solutions before programming changes are applied.
• Proactively act upon any recognized trends in system problems.
• Evaluate and offer feedback on different solutions.
• Create Requirement documentation for introducing system changes.
• Testing moderate to complex system changes, and maintaining and updating tables changes.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 5+ years working as a Guidewire Billing Center BSA experience • Guidewire Billing Center Ace Certified • 5+ years’ experience working in personal insurance • Hands-on experience working on Agency Bill, Broker Fees, and Commission • Experience working as part of Agile Delivery Team • Hands-on experience working with project team on defining and managing project scope • Must be able to identify project issues/roadblocks and steps for mitigation and resolution Nice to have.
• Scrum Master experience • Experience working on Conversion Projects • CIP or strong insurance knowledge • Prior Billing Center conversion experience is an asset • Prior experience working on business requirements related to IT/Digital Development #LI-BN Skills.
