AUDIT ACCOUNT MANAGER TS/SCI WITH POLY REQUIRED

Position Description.
CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Auditing/Accounting Expert for an exciting opportunity within our Intel Community.
As an Auditing/Accounting Expert, you will join a team responsible for industry outreach, providing account delivery expertise in a wide range of accounting and audit-related advisory services.
You will help federal agencies ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and government requirements pertaining to financial reporting and internal control.
In addition, the Accounting/Auditing Expert will assist the agency in developing and providing best practices to increase integrity of financial data, streamline flow of information from upfront process to financial information, and implement mechanisms to analyze data in support of informed business decisions and audit requirements.
This position is located in Chantilly, VA.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Leading and implement process redesign and new policies/procedures to improve and related to financial reporting • Improving PP&E data integrity, internal controls, and financial reporting of PP&E and Inventory and Related Property (I&RP) Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree primarily in accounting or in the appropriate field or related experience • Due to the nature of government contracts, candidates must be a US Citizen and hold a polygraph clearance • Licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), in good standing, with up-to-date continuing education requirements • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience working with federal financial statement auditing and/or federal financial statement preparation and analysis CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications.
To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
