APP OPS

Position Description.
5-7 years of experience in Appliaction support management, Key Responsibilities.
Utilize extensive cloud experience to manage applications in AWS and Azure environments.
Develop and maintain scripts for automation and monitoring using Python, Shell, and Bash.
Monitor application performance and implement tuning improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Investigate and resolve technical incidents escalated by the L-2 support team, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Participate actively in Problem Management review meetings, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
Manage application deployments and upgrades in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
Maintain documentation related to applications, processes, and procedures.
Provide on-call support and participate in the on-call rotation schedule as required.
Support operations on a 24/7 support model Requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum 6 years of experience in Application Operations or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in AWS and Azure cloud environments, including hands-on experience with cloud services and tools.
Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and Bash for automation and monitoring.
Solid understanding of application management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
Experience with databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and database management.
Proven ability to manage production environments and deliver results under pressure.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications.
AWS or Azure certifications Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices in cloud environments.
