YORUBA-SPEAKING CONTENT MODERATOR (ONSITE IN LISBON)

December Location.
Lisbon, Portugal As a Yoruba-speaking Content Moderator, you will work as part of the Trust & Safety team with out BPO client.
Your primary responsibility will involve conducting research, reviewing content, and supporting workflows related to the Nigerian (Yoruba) market.
This role requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and an ability to analyze geopolitical and cultural trends impacting global platforms.
Key Responsibilities.
- Conduct thorough research on geopolitical and cultural events in Yoruba-speaking regions.
- Analyze and moderate user-generated content, ensuring compliance with platform policies.
- Identify trends and risks impacting client platforms and document findings in detailed reports.
- Collaborate with teams to manage workflows and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Support additional workflows and markets as business needs evolve, including tasks in English and other markets via translation tools.
Requirements.
- Fluency in Yoruba and English (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical skills with a background in research or similar fields.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and online research platforms.
- Available to work onsite in Lisbon - In possession of a valid residence card for Portugal/certificate of temporary protection for refugees/EU member state passport Working Hours.
- 40 hours per week (8 hours/day, plus a 1-hour lunch break).
- Rotational shifts, Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 6 PM (Portuguese public holidays included).

10 working days (8 hours/day).

Conducted in English.
Contract Details.
- Initial 60-day preliminary contract during the training phase.
- Upon successful training completion, a 12-month renewable contract is provided.
- Potential for permanent employment after 2 years.
