WINTER PROJECT COORDINATOR NEW GRAD

Position Description.
Are you a soon-to-be graduate with a passion for tech? As Canada’s largest IT consulting firm, CGI is looking for innovative and tech-savvy individuals to join our New Grad Program.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project control procedures are followed.
- Assist project management professionals, technical users and end users in project coordination and synchronization activities - Track project change requests - Handle, maintain and control relevant project information in manual and/or electronic files - Project information may include.
project documentation; project charter; estimates; budget projections; dependencies; project plan; activity schedule; risk identification & management plan; communication & change management plan; Issues log; status reports; correspondence; meeting minutes; and project closeout report - Connect with project management professionals, technical users and end users on administrative matters related to the project - Update plans and schedules - Update and control relevant project information in manual and/or electronic files - Schedule and document meetings with clients and internal partners - Adhere to client and CGI processes - Provide clerical support to project teams - Perform team duties as needed Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
- Being a new graduate of IT or Business related program (less than 1 year after graduation) in Canada - Proven record of academic success - Co-Op or field experience will be an asset - Excellent written and oral communications skills - Great attention to detail - Critical thinking skills including the ability to tackle a problem and identify solution options - Works well independently and within a team environment Skills.
