Job Summary.
Lead the operations of transportation & warehousing across the entire Turkey and, driving cost and efficiency improvements while exceeding customer service expectations.
Manage 3PL warehouses.
Key Responsibilities.
Accountable for Logistics cost in Turkey.
Ensure proper processes in place for capturing and reporting of the cost, organize regular cost reviews with necessary functions Lead the operations with regards to distribution & warehousing of products within the Supply network.
Drive cost efficiencies, leverage global best practices & sustainability initiatives.
Scope of responsibility includes 3PL warehouses, road transport, and projects involving distributor warehouses.
Lead efforts to optimize Transportation and Warehousing costs Accountable for Transportation & WH Key Performance Indicators (KPI), maintaining regional scorecards, and working with the entire Supply Chain, Service Providers, Divisional and local CS&L, and commercial team to maximize results.
Lead warehouse audits and work on findings.
Support efforts to evaluate & implement alternative Supply & Distribution networks in the entire Turkey&CACE region that optimize cost and service objectives while considering changes in business and customer profiles.
Manage ongoing relationships of 3PL’s, carriers, forwarders and customs brokers including audits, physical counts.
Ensure process standardization across warehouses.
Required Qualifications.
Bachelor’s Degree or Logistics degree, MBA desirable Fluent in English Minimum 3 years of Logistics or Supply Chain experience Experience of Transportation Management including road, intermodal, ocean.
