US SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE ASSOCIATE MANAGER

Overview General accountabilities are to provide effective project management to all the Positive Agriculture initiatives in the U.
., including coordinating and managing partners and other stakeholders in execution and liaising closely with PepsiCo internal teams and other stakeholders as needed.  Responsibilities Coordinate and manage execution of the Positive Agriculture plans for the United States, including progress and reporting against regenerative agriculture, climate, watershed health, biodiversity, soil health and sustainable sourcing Lead relationship and project management for key implementers (PFI, PCM, SWOF) to help successful delivery of regenerative agriculture implementation & manage monthly update tracking Work with PCM, PFI, SWOF and Field to Market partners to implement PepsiCo goals and Climate Smart Commodities Program Provide expertise and advice for supplier led work Receive, review and provide decision support on supplier led programs Request, receive, and track supplier implementation throughout the year Able to represent PepsiCo on key external bodies in the US Serve on working committees of Field to Market Troubleshooting and support as needed for resolving barriers to implementation.
Advise Agro teams and Procurement on executional plans, progress and AOP implications Develop and manage strategic partnerships and effectively leverage third-party resources Identify and develop collaboration opportunities (with customers, peer companies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government) to address locally-relevant risks and opportunities Identify and vet local solution providers (external companies/organizations) that can be leveraged for the deployment of impact projects.  Seek out proven solutions (e.

agronomic practices, technologies, tools) that enhance agricultural sustainability and support the PepsiCo Positive / Agriculture agenda.
Coordinate the sector implementation and reporting of progress for PepsiCo’s agricultural Regen Ag goal Drive data collection and analysis for internal and external monitoring, reporting and learning.  Coordinate agro teams and key consultants executing data collection & analysis and identification of opportunities Lead monthly calls that provide status updates to execution across potatoes, grains, oils, and sweeteners Report creation and support communication and engagement of impact Track and coordinate implementation and progress of the action plans with the sectorial SFP Deployment Leads; support teams to update the plans as necessary.  Create capacity building at global level through the global “Champions network”, support innovation farm trials and collaborations (e.

3rd parties/external companies)  across sectors and support the lift and shift globally Track, interpret and communicate impact Collate learnings from projects to feed into global Regen Ag reporting Develop recommendations from work on the ground to feed other regions and their planning-  including innovative finace, etc.
