About the role.
Maintains compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.
Works directly with Global Trade Compliance Manager, internal organizations, freight forwarders, and Customs Brokers to facilitate import/export processes in line with all SFDA and other KSA State Institute requirements, with primary focus on Import.
Key Responsibilities · Assist with audits Brokers by conducting periodic reviews of brokers' service to ensure quality service and to resolve any problems (e.
., broker visit, compliance, timely clearance).
· Expedites difficult shipping situations (e.
., dangerous goods, new product introductions, customs clearance, etc.) to ensure timely delivery.
· Works with carriers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to identify and resolve Import compliance issues.
· Provides training and direction as needed to the Traffic Assistant(s) in the preparation of exports and imports.
In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
