The EDP Group is an integrated energy utility, with operations around the world.
Within its electricity transmission and distribution activity (the EDP Networks Platform) it currently manages operations in Portugal, Spain, and Brazil Role Overview.
As an EDP Networks Platform Strategy Consultant you will guide strategic planning and decision-making by deriving insights from market intelligence/trends and coordinate projects to optimize Platform performance and investment policies and identify new value creation opportunities, while leveraging on an analytical/problem-solving mindset, compelling/structured communication skills and strong stakeholder coordination.
What you will do.
-Collect, analyze, and synthesize market intelligence to support strategic reviews and decision-making.
-Identify and analyze major trends in society, economy, technology, and policy, and derive strategic implications for Networks.
-Work closely with our Regulation teams to translate regulatory findings into actionable business insights.
-Monitor and analyze the strategies, commitments, and performance of comparable players in the Networks sector.
-Maintain an up-to-date summary of the platform strategic narrative and ensure effective communication to key stakeholders.
-Lead and coordinate regular reviews of the Strategic Action Plan with regional teams to optimize platform performance.
-Define and report on key strategic indicators, ensuring accurate tracking of progress.
-Conduct comprehensive economic analyses of high-value investment projects to forecast, evaluate, and guide profitability optimization.
-Coordinate with our Network Planning and Finance teams to develop and maintain a CAPEX prioritization framework and investment policy.
-Identify and assess new value creation opportunities, including through new business models and inorganic options.
-Conduct consultant-style priority projects and ad-hoc analyses focused on finance and economics issues.

Hybrid Model What are we looking for.
-Bologna Bachelors degree or Pre-Bologna in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field -MBA is a plus.
-3+ years of experience in strategic planning, strategic consulting, investment banking or a similar role.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
-Experience in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
