SR. RETAIL BANKING BUSINESS ANALYST / LEAD

Position Description.
The CGI Financial Services – Consumer team is looking for a Sr.
Retail Banking Business Analyst Lead who has a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the loan origination area within a financial services company, in lending technology and business processes.
This position requires functional industry knowledge and expertise in the originations ecosystem, including common business practices, practical application of core originations concepts, understanding of regulations and compliance.
The Sr.
Retail Banking Business Analyst Lead will also provide guidance and support for the product direction and contribute to the prioritization of the Originations’ functionality, including working with a global delivery team leveraging Agile Best Practices.
Responsibilities include designing, documenting, and implementing a product roadmap and client enhancements to an enterprise web application.
The Business Analyst Lead will participate in evaluating business features to determine the best approach for meeting the acceptance criteria within the existing application.
The business analyst will be involved in backlog refinement, planning of sprints, sprint reviews/demos and meeting software compliance standards.
Knoxville, TN is the preferred location, but the role can be located Pittsburgh, PA; Charlotte, NC; Fairfax, VA; Dallas, TX; Austin TX; or Atlanta, GA.
Must be willing to work an Eastern Time CGI is looking for a Consumer Credit Life Cycle expert with client and business experience, including a minimum of 5+ years working in the loan origination area within a financial services company, in lending technology and business processes.

In this role you will also provide guidance and support for the product direction and contribute to the prioritization of the Originations functionality.
This includes working with a global-delivery team leveraging Agile Best Practices.
Your responsibilities will be designing and documenting and implementing both a product roadmap and client enhancements to an enterprise web application.
In this role you will contribute to evaluate business features to determine the best approach for meeting the acceptance criteria within the existing application.
Business Analysts will be involved in backlog refinement, planning of sprints, sprint reviews/demos as well as be responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
Knoxville location preferred, but will consider other locations.

• Assist in writing user stories with SMART acceptance criteria.
• Supporting testing activities including test preparation, ensuring test cases and scripts cover all requirements and design specifications.
Writing automated and manual test cases and test scripts based on requirements and user stories.
• Executing test cases manually or using automated test tools and supporting Feature and Regression Testing efforts.
• Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team; generating, proposing and implementing innovative solutions to solve them.
• Logging defects, testing/retesting defects, tracking progress and results and reporting status to the scrum master.
• Updating product documentation for new or existing functionality.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role • 10+ years in the financial industry • 10+ years of direct operational experience in consumer Originations lending (financial or technology company experience preferred) • Strong written and oral communication skills.
