Role Overview.
We are seeking a Solution Architect to lead and manage the design and implementation of comprehensive digital and data solutions that align with our global strategy.
This role is pivotal in shaping our technology strategies, ensuring scalability, sustainability, and adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities.
Develop and assess global technology strategies and roadmaps.
Design innovative solution architectures and technical designs tailored to project requirements.
Provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including discovery, design, development, and go-live.
Ensure architecture requirements are met for development, execution, and operations.
Lead IT architecture analysis, design, and implementation.
Offer technical governance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Manage technical dependencies, assess risks, and address IT challenges.
Define and implement an integrated architecture roadmap with strong enterprise application integration standards.
Evaluate new technology requests and oversee governance activities.
Key Relationships.
Collaborate with transformation teams, business owners, technical specialists, and external partners.
Liaise with executive directors and senior stakeholders to establish credibility and confidence in solution delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience.
Extensive experience in digital and solution architecture across legacy and modern solutions, cloud platforms, and integration patterns.
Strong understanding of platform, infrastructure, and data architecture, including cybersecurity.
Proven experience in the technology delivery lifecycle and architecture design.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading architecture teams within complex digital and data programs.
Ability to work across different projects using various methodologies, including agile and waterfall.
Proficient in tools like MS Project, Excel, Jira, DevOps, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills.
Certification in Cloud Service Providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Industry certifications (BCS, SCRUM, SAFe, PMP) and experience with TOGAF, COBIT, and SAFe.
Experience with Microsoft Cloud products, SAP S/4 HANA, Salesforce, and other relevant platforms.
