Restaurant Managers, Food & Beverage DirectorGeneral Purpose.
The Restaurant Server is an engaging and enthusiastic ambassador for the restaurant, intuiting the guest's appetites through verbal and non-verbal cues, making recommendations, and selling any item on the menu to even the most reluctant palate.
The Restaurant Server works accurately, efficiently, expertly prioritizes, and works to exceed guest expectations.
pecific Responsibilities.
eports to work on time and ready to work scheduled shifts.
ollows all steps of service.
nows descriptions and ingredients of all menu items.
nows all wines by the glass and at least five wines in each category on the wine list in varying price ranges and styles.
nows drinks names, ingredients, preparation method, appropriate glassware, and garnishes.
nows specialty beverages, i.
., single malt scotches, cognacs, specialty drinks, beer list, etc.
ells menu items to increase overall sales.
erves beverages and food cheerfully and efficiently.
nsures that the service station is properly stocked.
ompletes all posted side work.
aintains a positive, friendly attitude with co-workers & guests.
rovides prompt, accurate report of all income received during shift.
aintains a clean, orderly appearance in the restaurant service area.
ssists/executes any tasks as assigned by supervisor.
ollow all proper sanitation guidelines.
ualificationsAble to work flexible hours (nights, weekends).
esponsible, dependable, punctual.
