Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in in Lisbon, Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European entities.
In the space of 4 years, it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations.
Lisbon, Tomar and Guarda.
The geographical scope was extended to include, besides the European affiliates also entities located in Africa, Middle-East and India, and the operational scope was extended and includes today not just Finance, but also Human Resources.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Ensure the cost-effective operation in the R2R activities by driving and promote a high performance and engaged team, in order to deliver the best quality service 1) Performance General Ledger Account - Ensure that all journal entries are posted - Execute and/or validate legal requirements reports (e.
.
VAT, Statistics, Central bank, Intrastat) - Support Finance Business Partner with year end activities - Open and close acccounting periods according to the closing calendar - Perform and/or validate month closing activities according to schedule defined 2) Performs Accounts analysis - Perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation - Perform Sub-ledger to Ledger reconciliations - Analyze and follow up unjustified entries 3)Performs the asset accounting - Follow up investment orders/assets under construction in a monthly basis with the Operations Controller and/or Plant Managers - Record all fixed assets transactions ensuring both local GAAP and IFRS principles 4)Reporting - Prepair, upload and/or verify IRIS reporting and consolidated packages - Publish reporting packages - Verify and justify the gaps IRIS and ERP, if needed - Support consolidation team queries Assure audit activities are correctly executed within defined deadlines Are you a MATCH?
