ur CGI-BC team has an opening for a Quality Engineering Architecture who will lead the delivery of exceptional IT services to our clients.
The candidate must have demonstrable experience in managing and delivering IT services in an agile environment.
The ideal candidate is a customer-focused, process-oriented information technology professional with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Drive the evolution of the organization's QA maturity level by transitioning from traditional Quality Assurance (QA) to a modern, proactive Quality Engineering (QE) approach.
• Play the role of QE evangelist, educating teams on the processes, tools and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to strategize & align long term solution for test automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
• Collaborate with and advice the QE Automation Team to drive framework adoption and ensure alignment across all teams for consistent and effective implementation.
• Develop quality metrics that will be implemented across multiple projects.
• Provide recommendations and fine-tune processes to enhance delivery of QE in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
• Develop and deliver a strategic roadmap for Quality Engineering, outlining initiatives, priorities, and milestones.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Over 15 years of Quality Assurance experience, including 5 years as a Quality Assurance Architect, with a strong focus on process improvements, tools analysis, and implementation • Expert understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) • Extensive experience with automated test tools in a BDD environment.
• Influential, focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure and changing environments.
• Experience on Continuous Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Continuous Deployment using various DevOps tools - Jenkins, Groovy, Hermes etc.
• Able to effectively articulate the solution • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate software engineering and/or development concepts and principles CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The determination of this range includes various factors including but not limited to skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licensure and certifications.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
