QA ENGINEER - INTEGRATION TESTER AND AUTOMATION

We are currently looking for QA Engineer - Integration Tester and Automation Requirements.
Experience Level.
Minimum 5 years Job Overview We seek an experienced Integration Tester with a strong background in MuleSoft, AWS serverless architecture, and Postman.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of hands-on experience in testing complex system integrations, troubleshooting, and ensuring that various components function together seamlessly.
They will also be proficient in Groovy scripting and have a working knowledge of GitLab CI pipelines and mocking servers such as Service V of ReadyAPI.
Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive integration test plans.
• Validate integration points between systems, with a strong focus on MuleSoft and AWS serverless technologies (CloudWatch, API Gateway, Lambda functions, etc.).
• Utilize testing tools like Postman and SoapUI to verify and validate APIs and system integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate integration of software components.
• Develop automated test scripts using Groovy scripting; Java scripting is a plus.
• Implement and manage GitLab CI pipelines for continuous testing and integration.
• Perform regression testing, end-to-end testing, and performance testing.
• Experience with mocking servers like Service V of ReadyAPI to simulate API behavior in the integration environment.
• Create detailed test reports and track defects to closure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
• Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes by verifying integration functionality.
Required Skills and Experience • MuleSoft.
Strong experience working with MuleSoft for system integrations.
• AWS serverless.
Proficiency in AWS cloud services, particularly CloudWatch, API Gateway, and Lambda functions.
• Postman and SoapUI.
Extensive experience in API testing using both tools; creating, executing, and automating tests.
• Groovy scripting.
Solid knowledge of Groovy scripting for test automation and integration testing.
• GitLab CI.
Working experience with GitLab CI pipelines for continuous integration and testing.
• Mocking servers.
Experience with mocking tools like Service V of ReadyAPI for simulating service behavior.
• 5+ years of experience in integration testing or a related role.
• Experience with testing REST APIs, SOAP, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.
., Git).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications • Certifications in AWS or MuleSoft.
• Knowledge of Java scripting is a plus.
• Experience with other cloud platforms and testing frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or JMeter.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes.
Soft Skills • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
• Adaptability to fast-paced project changes and agile processes.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential integration issues.
• Proficiency in English Location will be Lisbon, Braga, Porto or Coimbra and the working model will be hybrid.
