Your future duties and responsibilities.
CGI is seeking an experienced Python Developer with Apache Camel expertise to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and integrating applications using Python and Apache Camel to ensure efficient data flow and system integration.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in enterprise-level integration solutions, middleware technologies, and a deep understanding of Python scripting, as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Objectives of this role.
• Write efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.
• Leverage Python and Apache Camel together to create efficient pipelines and processes.
• Automate workflows and processes using Python scripts in conjunction with Camel routes.
• Use Python debugging tools and Camel's monitoring capabilities (e.
., JMX, logs) to identify and fix issues.
• Ensure that Camel routes are configured for secure transport (e.
., HTTPS, secure JMS).
• Develop and implement message transformations and protocol bridging.
• Design and implement scalable and maintainable applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Integrate data storage solutions like databases, data pipelines, or APIs.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, and ensure best practices are followed.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems.
• Work in an agile environment, contributing to sprints and product deliverables Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
