PROJECT PLANNING AND CONTROL ANALYST/ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER - U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED

CGI is seeking a Project Planning and Control Analyst/Assistant Project Manager for a long-term, Federal project.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
You will be required to be in our Fairfax, VA office two days per week.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with the Program Manager, stakeholders and team members to gather project data and ensure accuracy of information • Track project progress and milestones and provide regular updates to project teams • Collect and analyze project performance data • Prepare project performance reports and dashboards, highlighting key performance indicators and trends • Continuously monitor and assess project performance to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement • Identify potential risks and issues related to project schedules and propose mitigation strategies • Provide support and guidance to project teams on project control processes and best practices • Assist in developing project plans, work breakdown structures and schedules Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Due to the nature of the government contracts, this position requires US Citizenship • Bachelor's degree required • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Proficiency in research and data analysis • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required.
• Advanced Excel training for financial analysis and reporting • Project management software training (e.
