What role will you play as a member of Colgate's Information Technology team? The candidate is responsible for business facing support & development for various applications in the Supply Chain Planning Applications (PP and QM).
The role requires the person to act as an expert for the global business processes within the function, own the execution of different projects activities and ensure the smooth execution of critical business processes.
The person will be required to collaborate with business teams / technical teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.
Ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design.
Who are you You are a Business Analyst.
Understands and applies Information Technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities Applying conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve highly sophisticated business processes and procedural problems Manage and/or perform the Design, Build and Testing of Business Applications and its Architecture in line with agreed Time frames, Business Requirements and Global Standards Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables at the same time.
Maintain Production Systems reliability through accurate utilization of GIT standard support and Governance processes Support day to day business requirements according to Global SLA Deliver solutions to solve business requirements considering priorities and resources available Ensure the accurate use of Information Technology project management SAP 5 step project management methodology to comply of Information Technology governance practices Collaborate with Business and Functional team, Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project Mentor and coach junior developer resources.
Review program codes and suggest corrections in case of any errors.
Performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes.
Identify and assess new technologies and concepts that can add value to the business To stay updated with the latest technological advancement and changes in the world of SAP development and adapting to these changes by self-training and research work.
Applied Knowledge and skills Hands-on experience in Manufacturing (PP & QM) and it’s Integration, End to End projects integrating with various systems e.
.
SAP ECC, S/4HANA (& MES) Configuration, Good understanding of SAP PP & QM like Material master, Bill of material, routing, Production version, Quality management master data and transaction data like inspection lot and release cycle, Handling units cycle, batch master etc.
Good understanding of Production Planning and Execution - Discrete & Repetitive cycles, MTS and MTO, Good Understanding of Integration with MM, PM, LE & WM.
Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs into technical specifications in English Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically to identify and communicate root cause What you’ll need(Preferred) Strong problem Solving and analytical skills.
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically to identify and communicate root causes.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally as well as in written formats.
