We are looking for a qualified postdoc researcher to join our team under the PRR framework, and work on the Lithium-based compounds for battery components project, for the New Generation Storage Agenda.
Job Duties The job duties will be the following.
Perform the R&D activ ities as planned in the project; Collaborate with other academic and industry partners wit hin the consortium on joint R&D; Regularly report to supervisor and pr oject leader(s) on R&D progress; Publish project results and communicate the results in project/professional meetings; Engage in other project dissemination activities.
Mandatory Qualifications   Education PhD in Electrochemistry, Materials Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Nanotechnology or other related field.
Experience Hands-on experience in synthesis of battery materials, particularly in cathode materials for lithiu m-ion batteries; Extensive knowledge of battery c hemistry, structural characteris ation of materials and electrochemical perfor mance assessment and characterisation; Good track-record on cathode materials research, preferably on high-voltage cathode materials (e.
., LNMO), in the form of scientific publications and/o r patents as the leading author; Competences in project results dissemination, e.
.
publications in scientific journals and presentations at professional meetings.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge on the preparation surface coatings.
Personal Skills “ Hands-on” approach together with a high commitment in respecting working deadlines; Problem Solving ability; Customer orientation; Ability to work independently and as team player; Good communication skills.
