ORACLE DOCUMAKER DEVELOPER (FOR POOLING)

Position Description.
CGI is looking for a document automation specialist experienced in Oracle Documaker Studio to automate document creation for our Life Insurance client in Toronto, Canada.
The Oracle Documaker developer will be responsible for creating, managing, and delivering customized documents of Insurance processes such as contracts, statements, letters, and other forms of correspondence using Oracle Documaker Studio.
The candidate must be self-motivated and passionate about leveraging the latest capabilities of ODEE and thrive in an organization with a desire for teamwork, client satisfaction, and changing things for the better.
Experience in Documaker version upgrade would be an added advantage.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Work directly with the client project team to capture and clarify requirements of documents to be automated • Design, create, and configure forms using various features of Oracle Documaker Studio in the Development region using DAL.
• Promote the changes to a higher environment, and provide demo and testing support.
• Receive sign-off from various stakeholders, and implement the changes to production, and provide warranty support.
• Prepare documentation of changes done and provide knowledge transition to support the team • Guide other team members during project activities as required.
• Provide off-shift production support when needed Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• At least 4 years of overall IT experience with at least 2 years of experience in Oracle DocuMaker Enterprise Edition 10x/11x/12x and related Technologies (Enterprise Document Automation/ Generation Engine) • Support client project team through the stages of SDLC to implement electronic document automation/generation solutions.
• Ability to write DAL scripts, triggers, barcoding, rules • Ability to design forms, subforms, paragraphs etc.
• Experience of Static and Dynamic Forms Development, Unit Testing, Peer review process.
• Hands on experience on developing real time and batch processing • Experience on Documaker version Upgradation would be added advantage • Hands on application development experience in Unix, Java/J2EE, VBscript, XML, Oracle/MS SQL DB.
• Good to have knowledge of Insurance and Financial services domain • Must be amenable to working onsite 2-3 days a week in Taguig on a night-shift schedule.
