NETWORKS OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

The Grid Management Department of the Networks Platform which the mission is to   ensure performance optimization of RND using short-term forecasts that allow identify serious situations for network and estimate its consequences with geographic discrimination is looking to recruit for its System optimization area.

What you will do.
Ensure the analysis of power flows on the network in normal and contingency operating regimes, aiming to support the identification of optimal operating configurations; Identify possible short-term constraints on the network, in normal and backup operating regimes; Coordinate, monitor, inform and continuously improve the performance of the incident forecasting system; Proposing, implementing and monitoring the performance of short-term forecasting models  (~5 days)  of active and reactive power for generation and load; Analyze power flows from market production or local energy communities.

Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering; Professional experience up to 3 years in the field of Electrical Engineering; Knowledge of time series forecasting (valued); Knowledge of MS Azure and Databricks (Valued); We value soft skills, such as teamwork, organization, sense of responsibility, dynamism/proactivity and autonomy; Openness to change and ability to adapt to different environments; Fluent in English.
