MLOPS DATA ANALYST

Position Description.
CGI is looking for a Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and managing data pipeline integrations with Feature Store technologies, specifically Hopsworks.
This role requires expertise in data modeling, feature engineering, and data quality validation for machine learning operations (MLOps).
The candidate will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure the availability and consistency of high-quality features for real-time and batch ML models.
This position is located in Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, or Dallas TX, however hybrid model is accepted.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements related to feature engineering and machine learning data pipelines.
• Design and implement feature pipelines in Hopsworks Feature Store to support ML model training and inference.
• Work with data engineers to develop scalable data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance by defining validation rules and monitoring feature drift.
• Collaborate with MLOps and ML engineering teams to optimize feature store performance and enable real-time feature serving.
• Support ad-hoc data analysis and provide insights to stakeholders for improving fraud detection and risk models.
• Define and execute test cases for data integrity, feature consistency, and lineage tracking Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Ņ+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or business systems analysis.
• ł+ years of hands-on experience in data domain, working with feature stores, data lakes, or data warehouses.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries, joins, and analytics functions.
• Experience with Hopsworks Feature Store and understanding of feature lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with machine learning lifecycles, including data collection, transformation, model training, and inference.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.).
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure ML services for feature store management.
• Understanding fraud detection and risk modeling within the banking domain.
• Familiarity with Python or Scala for data processing and automation.
• Relevant cloud or machine learning certifications.
