MIGRATION & CONFIGURATION SPECIALIST

Position Description.
The new colleague will work on SQL scripts to enable new features, as well as data updates to fix production issues.
The ideal candidate has to be curious about the business needs, be autonomous in his/her work yet confident to ask for help from the team when needed.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
▪ Deploying a Policy Administration system worldwide, in all the Business Units of the Group based on international program aiming.
▪ As a Configurator, the candidate is involved in the policy portfolio migration for all new Business Units, using Talend ETL ▪ Developing data fixes for production issues ▪ Following Agile methodology (Kanban), the candidate is involved on a day-to-day basis in the analysis, scripting and delivery of the proposed solutions.
▪ Providing technical support to the other members/developers of the configuration team ▪ Being in charge of providing configuration expertise and support for the rest of the compass tribe (for instance developers in feature teams) Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
▪ 2-3 years experience ▪ Strong skills in SQL, PL/pgSQL and T-SQL ▪ Nice to have basic experience in programming languages (Java, Python) ▪ Experience with GIT for script version management ▪ Experience with Talend or another ETL solution would be a plus ▪ Experience of CI CD pipelines in a DevOps environment.
